Employee Success Story - Henry Thomas
London, 19 August 2026
Wildstone's success is built on the people who grow alongside the business, and Henry Thomas embodies that ethos. His career at Wildstone has been defined by growth, opportunity and leadership, culminating in his recent promotion to Head of Development.

In this employee success story, Henry reflects on the experiences that have shaped his career, the lessons he's learned along the way and his ambitions for the next phase of Wildstone's growth.

Henry joined Wildstone in 2021 following the acquisition of Space Outdoor, where he had managed the sales and development process. Working in a small independent business gave him hands-on experience across a wide range of disciplines, including planning, asset management and delivery—experience that proved invaluable as he transitioned to Wildstone.

"My experience at Space Outdoor provided me with strong foundations for Wildstone because we were a small independent business. It gave me the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across different departments, which has really helped me throughout my career here."

As Wildstone has grown, so has Henry's role. After progressing to Senior Development Manager, he gained valuable leadership experience before taking the next step as Head of Development.

"The key moment for me was moving into a Senior Development Manager role, which gave me the leadership experience I wanted and ultimately the opportunity to lead the Development team."

For Henry, one of the most fulfilling aspects of working at Wildstone has been seeing the business evolve during a period of rapid growth.

"The company is in a high-growth phase, and I've really enjoyed seeing it evolve as we've grown. We've constantly been challenged to raise our game, which has helped me develop professionally."

Henry also values the relationships he has built with landlords and being a crucial part of their journey in helping them unlock additional revenue streams to reinvest elsewhere. Seeing the finished sites go live is a key part of what makes the role so fulfilling.

Henry is also very proud to be part of his landlords’ journeys, helping create opportunities for additional revenue that can be reinvested into projects and ambitions that matter to them. He particularly enjoys understanding how the partnership can support their wider business or personal goals and seeing the impact it has beyond the site itself.

"The most rewarding part has been building longstanding relationships with landlords and guiding them through the development process, from the initial concept through to delivery. Watching those partnerships turn into successful, live sites that create long-term value for everyone involved is what makes the job so fulfilling."

Looking back, Henry is particularly proud of being part of the transition from Space Outdoor to Wildstone and contributing to the company's digital transformation.

"Moving from a small independent organisation into the market leader in digital infrastructure and playing a meaningful part in the journey to installing over 1,000 digital 48 sheets has been a real career highlight."

Now leading the Development team, Henry is focused on delivering the next phase of Wildstone's growth.

"I'm looking forward to implementing the roadmap for the next phase of development and continuing to support Wildstone's growth. The opportunity for Wildstone to become the world's largest outdoor media infrastructure provider is incredibly exciting, and I'm proud to play a part in that journey."

Jonathan Chandler, UK Managing Director, adds:

"Henry's promotion to Head of Development is a testament to his leadership and commitment to building strong relationships with our landlords. Since joining Wildstone, he's embraced every opportunity to grow, playing an important role in creating value for our partners and helping drive the expansion of our portfolio. Henry has consistently led by example, and I'm delighted to see him take on this new role and continue to shape the team."
